V. It's the first letter in volunteering. It's also the name of the independent charity championing youth volunteering in England. @orange st is a new and exciting initiative, funded by vinvolved, which will make an impact on communities throughout Bristol and South Gloucestershire. There's a wide range of new volunteering opportunities for you to access and enjoy. You can have access to training, get certificates for your achievements, receive expenses, make new friends and make a difference. Here are a few ideas on how you can get involved as a volunteer:
Music and Dance
Do you have an interest or skill in music or dance?
We need young people to help create a series of music and dance challenges,
the first of which is to produce a CD of Bristol’s varied cultural music.

Become part of a team looking at and implementing innovative ways to recycle IT
equipment. To find out more.

Environment
Get involved outdoors, planning and implementing an environmental project at our
Activity Centre. Create a nature garden/trail through the woodland site containing
many rare plants and species.

Help organise and run pottery and art projects, either by joining the current
project based at our day care centre, or gain the skills needed to run
