We are a "not for profit" organisation and a registered charity, operating throughout the south of England and Wales.

Our aim is to invest in and support people and through them their communities. We do this using a varied portfolio of activities broadly divided into the following categories:

• Assisting people into work through employment services and training.
• Programs to support people with disabilities and mental health issues.
• Community volunteering & creative social action projects.
• Recycling and re-use with centres in North Wales, Reading and Bristol.
• Outdoor activities & courses for individuals and organised groups.
• First Aid and Health & Safety training and assessment.

We deliver all kinds of projects for all kinds of people; from front line employment services on behalf of DWP, to a locally run community music studio where young people learn new skills, improve their motivation and confidence whilst providing a valuable service for their community.

Our track record over the course of a typical year

• 3,350 people assisted through Jobcentre DWP & LSC/SFA programmes.
• 1300 people helped through our disability and mental health programmes.
• 1100 people attended training courses at our Activity Centre and 5,700 young people receive instruction (and have a great time) taking part in outdoor activities.
• 750 tonnes are saved from landfill, and over 7,500 people benefit from recycled furniture and white goods.
• 360 young people try out creative volunteering for the first time.
